“At Nordomatic, you can expect to have a very good working environment with good colleagues.”

Why did you apply for a job at Nordomatic?

I applied for an apprenticeship in Nordomatic from the automation line in upper secondary school, as I was particularly interested in building automation and building management systems. I passed the exam in 2018 and have been here ever since.

What do you work with at Nordomatic?

I mainly work with refurbishing projects, which involves replacing old automatic controls with new ones to create new life in older systems.

This gives customers the opportunity to more easily monitor and take advantage of their systems, and it also provides opportunities to make the facilities more user-friendly and energy-efficient.

I also work a lot with zone control, where I deal with all control of indoor climate and light.

Why is what you are working on exciting?

What is exciting about my days at Nordomatic is that no two days are the same. One day I may be sitting in a construction meeting to plan the progress of new projects, while on other days I might be programming large power plants or function testing a simple zone control.

What is it like to work at Nordomatic?

At Nordomatic you can expect to have a very good working environment with good colleagues. There are also many exciting projects with large and interesting suppliers and customers.

What kind of development opportunities do you see in your job at Nordomatic?

At Nordomatic, you can start out as an apprentice and end up as a project manager for large projects.
