Why did you apply for a job at Nordomatic?
I applied for an apprenticeship in Nordomatic from the automation line in upper secondary school, as I was particularly interested in building automation and building management systems. I passed the exam in 2018 and have been here ever since.
What do you work with at Nordomatic?
I mainly work on refurbishing projects, which involve replacing old automatic controls with new ones to give new life to older systems. This allows customers to monitor and use their systems more easily and provides opportunities to make the facilities more user-friendly and energy-efficient. I also work a lot with zone control, where I manage all aspects of indoor climate and light.
What is the most exciting part of your work?
My days at Nordomatic are exciting because no two days are the same. One day, I may be sitting in a construction meeting to plan the progress of new projects, while on other days, I might be programming large power plants or function testing a simple zone control.
