How we change and impact tomorrow

A walk by memory lane:

Nordomatic was founded in 1967 in Sweden by the engineer and entrepreneur Olle Nord.

Olle worked tirelessly to find and promote modern, efficient, independent, and open solutions. The concept behind Nordomatic was to give customers the freedom to switch providers if Nordomatic ever failed to meet their expectations.

While this might have seemed unconventional to some, the core idea was that customers shouldn’t be forced to stay with a provider out of necessity. Instead, they should choose to partner with a provider because they wanted to.

The concept of openness and independence meant that Nordomatic didn’t bind customers to long-term relationships solely through licenses. Rather, Nordomatic focused on fostering long-term collaborations built on trust, action, and delivering value through our end-products and services.

2010-2020: Hypergrowth and International Expansion

2010 marked a pivotal moment for Nordomatic, setting the stage for an era of hypergrowth and international expansion. Supported by new owners and a visionary management team, the company identified a strategic opportunity to broaden its reach, expand its offerings, and push for innovation.

Over the next five years, Nordomatic successfully established a presence in numerous new regions across Sweden. A key turning point came in 2016 with the acquisition of Dominus A/S, which fueled swift and profitable growth, expanding Nordomatic’s presence into several important areas in Denmark. In 2017, the company continued its expansion by entering Oslo, followed by further growth into other major cities in Norway.

Throughout the decade, Nordomatic achieved an impressive average annual growth rate of over 20%, cementing its position as a dynamic and rapidly expanding force in the industry. This momentum aligned with the company’s strategy to become a Global Impact Leader in Smart Buildings by 2025.
