How Our Calculator Engineer Helps Build Smarter Buildings
How did Armaghan find her place at Nordomatic?
Making buildings smarter and more sustainable requires knowledge that extends beyond our national borders. By bringing in international expertise, we combine global insights with local challenges. That is exactly what smart buildings are all about. With Armaghan on our team, we have that valuable perspective in-house. But does the Calculator Engineer, who studied in Iran and Sweden and worked in Belgium, already feel at home at Nordomatic? We decided to find out.
Calculator Engineer Armaghan on Her First Months
How do you end up at Nordomatic Benelux after years of studying and working in three different countries?
“I have always been fascinated by buildings and energy systems,” Armaghan says. “After completing my master’s degree in Energy for Smart Cities, I wanted to bring my knowledge into practice. I had already worked in the HVAC sector for three years, but I missed real innovation. When I saw this job opening, I immediately knew it was exactly what I had been looking for.”
A Warm Welcome at Nordomatic
How has it been so far? “It took some getting used to in the beginning,” she explains. “My Belgian colleagues did everything they could to support me, but iBOS was new for them as well. I received additional help and guidance from colleagues in the Netherlands and Sweden. That cross-border collaboration worked extremely well and made me feel at home right away.”
What Does Our Calculator Engineer Want to Improve Even Further?
Armaghan now works in the IBOS Sales team, where she focuses daily on smart buildings and their future.
“There is still so much to learn,” she says. “I want to deepen my knowledge of both the technical and commercial aspects of IBOS. I also prepare quotations and cost calculations. This helps me understand the product better and see how it is applied in practice.”
