NS Station Breda is a bustling transportation hub located just a five-minute walk from the heart of Breda’s city center and shopping district. This central station, renovated between 2014 and 2016, serves an average of 35,500 travelers daily, making it a critical node in the Netherlands’ railway network. In addition to its role as a major train station, the central station of Breda hosts numerous offices, parking facilities, restaurants, and various shops, contributing to its vibrant and multifaceted environment.

As part of the ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance the station’s infrastructure, Nordomatic has been entrusted with the technical maintenance of 20 control cabinets equipped with SBC technology. This routine maintenance is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the station’s various systems, including HVAC, providing a safe and comfortable experience for all users.

In parallel, Nordomatic is engaged in a significant project to upgrade the station’s Building Management System (BMS) to the SBC supervisor platform. This project is carried out in collaboration with Spie, a partnership that leverages the strengths and expertise of both companies to deliver a state-of-the-art solution. The upgrade to the Saia Supervisor BMS will enhance the station’s operational efficiency, providing advanced monitoring and control capabilities that are essential for managing such a complex and high-traffic facility.

This collaboration and technological enhancement underscore the commitment to innovation and excellence in managing and operating NS Station Breda. By integrating cutting-edge technology and maintaining rigorous operational standards, Nordomatic and its partners are ensuring that NS Station Breda remains a premier transportation hub, equipped to meet the needs of today’s travelers and those of the future.
