Through the acquisition of the SRO Group, the Smart Buildings Group Nordomatic is taking on the leadership position in Scandinavia. The Group further strengthens its presence in the growing Norwegian market. Nordomatic’s turnover in Scandinavia now amounts to over SEK 1 billion and the number of employees has passed 500 people.
Sustainability and Impact are clear and integrated parts of Nordomatic’s strategy, where the acquisition of the SRO Group is a major step towards achieving the goal of 300,000 tonnes of reduced carbon dioxide emissions for customers by 2030, through smart solutions for building automation.
“We are really pleased to have landed this long-awaited deal. SRO, led by Ståle and Terje, is extremely competent and has created impressive growth with market-leading productivity and profitability. SRO strengthens and complements Nordomatic in the smart buildings and proptech market, which in just a few years has developed a lot. The Norwegian market in particular is at the forefront of the area and invests heavily in climate-smart buildings.”Olov Schagerlund, President and CEO, Nordomatic
The SRO Group has been part of the Nordomatic Group since 1 July 2021. Since the acquisition of SD-Consult in 2017, Nordomatic has had 25 employees in Norway, but now the business in Norway has a total of 100 employees and a turnover of over NOK 200 million. The business is a good opportunity for continued growth and to offer more smart solutions to customers in their journey towards a stronger climate economy and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.
“For us, it is an exciting opportunity to become part of a larger organization like Nordomatic. The Group has large market shares in Sweden and Denmark, and together we have all the conditions to continue to grow, not least in Norway. Nordomatic has a modern Smart Cloud platform with applications that SRO customers will benefit from. Organizationally, we are working as before with the same offices and contact persons, so our customers and suppliers continue in the same way as before.”Ståle Syversen. CEO, SRO Group.
Through the acquisition of the SRO Group in Norway, the Nordomatic Group becomes the largest independent integrator of open, cloud-based Smart Buildings solutions with the ambition to grow further, even outside Scandinavia.
